Use this one simple sales tactic to get clients to tell you the truth when you're trying to close a deal. Selling often requires you to ask specific questions to get to the real answer. 

Client says, "We'll get back to you."
You: When will your company get back to us?
Client: In about 4 weeks
You: When do YOU personally think you'll get back to us?"
Client: (a more accurate answer)
