Ask yourself these questions:
1. Is this activity contributing to my success?
2. Is this activity contributing to my health and happiness?
3. Why do I do what I do?
In doing this, you can audit your time and become a more productive person. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or missing deadlines, you need to audit your time and figure out where you are wasting your time.
The three biggest time wasters out there are sleep, apps and television. Many people sleep 10 to 12 hours a day when the average adult needs 7 to 8 hours of sleep. As far as apps go, the average American spends 2 hours and 51 minutes on their phone each day. The biggest time waster is television. The average American wastes 5 hours and 4 minutes a day watching television. Between these three things, you could be wasting over 11 hours of your day.
