He's best known as a co-founder of Quest Nutrition. Quest Nutrition grew by 57,000% in its first 3 years. His goal with Quest Nutrition was to end metabolic disease and show that food can be "good for you and still taste good". In October 2016, Bilyeu and his wife, Lisa, started Impact Theory. Impact Theory publishes a long-form interview talk show, hosted by Bilyeu. Impact Theory is designed to "leverage the self-sustaining power of commerce to radically influence global culture". As of February 2018, Impact Theory is still in its first stage with over 250,000 followers on its social media platforms. When starting Quest Nutrition, Tom and his team made protein bars out of their kitchen. Quest Nutrition products are sold in 80 countries. To grow Quest Nutrition, they were giving their products away for free.
