Abraham Lincoln, a lawyer by profession, accepted a case which appeared to be a good one. Subsequently, he had a sitting with his client. He quietly heard him for about an hour or two, staring at the wall of his cabin.
Then he looked at the client and said:
" Listen I have heard about the whole incident just now. I think you have a pretty good case in your favor- of course technically so, as far as the laws are concerned"
" Then where is the hitch , Mr. Lincoln?"
" It is a bad case as far as justice and equity are concerned"
"OH!".
"I will not take it. Sire!... because while arguing in your favor in the court, my inner being would go on telling me: " Lincoln; you are wrong, you're a liar! So while arguing for you unconsciously I will blurt out the truth! Sorry!"
