It’s hard to believe, but it has been estimated that as much as 95 percent of our planet's landmass has been modified by humans in some way, with 17 percent classified as being either highly, or very highly impacted.
There's no doubt that, as a species, we've left a long-lasting mark on the world, but mother nature is fighting back. Human structures that aren’t maintained will inevitably begin to decay, and the trees, plant life, and animals that were once cleared out of the way for construction will slowly start reappearing.
